The Doddily app doesn’t ask you to create an account and doesn’t collect personal data.
If you choose “Use where I am”, your phone’s location is used to find activities near you. It’s only sent to look up the nearest postcode (postcodes.io) and to load listings for your area. We don’t store it.
Your postcode, distance, your name and your children’s names and age groups are saved on your phone only. So are the places you save and any reminders you set.
Doddily only adds an event when you tap “Add to calendar” and confirm it, and it can’t read your calendar. Reminders use your phone’s own notifications.
None.
Class and group details come from providers’ public pages, councils and libraries, and each one links back to the provider. Leisure centre session times come from open data published by Better, Everyone Active and Places Leisure through OpenActive, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. Map and place data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
If you send us a class through the form on this website, we keep what you send: the class details, a photo if you add one, and your email if you give it. We use it to check the class and add it to Doddily, and we only email you about that class. It’s stored with our hosting provider, Vercel. To have it deleted, email hello@doddily.app.
Questions, or want a listing corrected or removed? Email hello@doddily.app.
